Following six months of internal and stakeholder discussions, we are proud to release our 2025-2028 strategy.
This strategy has been created to serve as a compass for our vision and values while being responsive and adaptive to the current volatile times. Two years ago, the Data Tank was founded with a bold mission: to help society reuse data responsibly for the common good. Today, that mission is more urgent—and more complex—than ever. The global landscape has shifted. As our new 2025-2028 strategy takes into account, the pace of technological advancement has accelerated; trust in institutions and platforms is declining; power is increasingly asymmetric; data, and the systems built upon it, are becoming central to geopolitical competition, climate resilience, health equity, and social cohesion.
We invite you to follow our forthcoming publications and dialogues. As stated in our vision, we work collaboratively to contribute to a future where societies are equipped to access, share and reuse data in inclusive, responsible, systematic and sustainable ways to make informed decisions and improve people’s lives, and that of the planet.
We look forward to continue collaborating with the public and private sectors, civil society, academia and the members of the public and invite you to read our most recent articles to see how we are turning this strategy into action:
