Join us and the Hertie School Data Science Lab for an exciting night of science, data and pizza to understand pressing issues of the world and possible solutions to these challenges.
The workshop Data and Pizza will engage participants in an interactive experience on questions such as: How does data sharing help find solutions to pressing societal problems? What are the key roles that need to be considered in advancing it – and how? By discussing different topical global headlines and zeroing in on the topics of data, cooperation, and a sustainable future, we will exchange ideas on the challenges and opportunities of data access, and data re-use for the common good – all through the magic of pizza.
The event will be hosted by Dr Julia Staam, CEO of The Data Tank, a Brussels-based not-for-profit think and do tank, and Prof Asya Magazinnik, Professor of Social Data Science at the Hertie School.
